Innovation Program Manager

Job Description: As an Innovation Program Manager at Catalisti, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating innovation into business within the chemistry and plastics industries. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management: Lead and manage open innovation projects, from initiation to execution, collaborating with companies of all sizes, universities, and research institutes. Ensure projects are aligned with Catalisti’s mission and objectives.
  2. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with Catalisti’s extensive network of members, including industrial players, SMEs, startups, universities, and research institutes.
  3. Innovation Facilitation: Act as a neutral partner, fostering cooperation and alignment among stakeholders. Use your expertise to make innovation tangible and relevant for businesses, helping them identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
  4. Program Development: Contribute to the development of new value chains and innovation programs that support sustainable chemistry and plastics. Stay updated on cutting-edge research and sustainability trends to guide program development.
  5. Strategic Planning: Assist in the strategic planning process to identify new business opportunities and growth potential for Catalisti’s members. Help companies remain competitive in sustainable products and processes.
  6. Knowledge Sharing: Disseminate first-class information related to research, innovation, and sustainability to Catalisti’s members, keeping them informed about industry developments.


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (chemistry, chemical engineering, business, etc.).
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in innovation or research and development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the chemical and plastics industries and an understanding of sustainability principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
